2,522 PointsNot sure where to start with string_factory.py
I can create a function that will create the desired output (attached), but have not figured out how to do so using **. I'm really not sure where to start (or how to modify my current function).
# Example:
# values = [{"name": "Michelangelo", "food": "PIZZA"}, {"name": "Garfield", "food": "lasagna"}]
# string_factory(values)
# ["Hi, I'm Michelangelo and I love to eat PIZZA!", "Hi, I'm Garfield and I love to eat lasagna!"]
# template = "Hi, I'm {name} and I love to eat {food}!"
def string_factory(values):
template = "Hi, I'm {} and I love to eat {}!"
list1 = []
for d in values:
list1.append(template.format(d["name"], d["food"]))
return list1

2,522 PointsThanks James. I got it to work, but I still have to think for a bit about why it works!
