Not sure why challenge task 1 isn’t passing

So it seems that this code fulfills all the requirements of the exercise, yet I’m not sure why it’s failing since it returns a general error.

What am I doing wrong here?

def even_odd(num):

    num = int(input("> "))

    if num % 2 == 0:
        return True
    else:
        return False

The code is perfect, just remove the input line, as it's not required to pass.
