Python Python Basics (2015) Python Data Types Use .split() and .join()

Not sure why code is not working in Trehouse's banana.py. I ran the same code on my local machine and it did work

Please advise

banana.py 
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(";")
display_menu = (", ").join(sundaes)
menu =  "Our available flavors are: {}.".format(display_menu)

The challenges are sometimes more picky than the language itself.

While you may be able to get away with it outside, the challenge doesn't like the parentheses surrounding the string (before .join).
