15,391 PointsNothing Is Explained!
This is probably the worst course I have come across on Treehouse. Nothing is being explained. Why are we doing this stuff? We, [me personally] will never rememeber any of this stuff if I don't know why we are doing it. I can copy all of this and do it, but in vain.
What are all of the files that we have in the project, what are they all for? Why do we put them in bin, lib, config, public, log, etc!? What is rake? Why are we doing rspec? What are all of these gems we installed? What do they do? This is crazy!

16,413 PointsI completed that course, now I feel like I just wasted my time going through this one lol.

15,391 PointsI'm in the process of that course, it's really nice, tbh. There are some things that are outdated, but I've only run into one instance of this being an issue. It's an awesome course! Learning WebDev thanks!

7,983 PointsNo problem! I'm glad it's good. I'm going to take a stab at it soon. Currently working through this to get a handle on ruby first before proceeding to rails stuff (you can either buy the book or just go through it online on the site for free which is what I'm doing). I'm about half way through and it doesn't seem to take long. Would definitely recommend working through it alongside the Ruby Foundations treehouse course.

15,391 PointsLearning WebDev yeah, I took the Ruby track but will definitely take all of the ones I can.
UPDATE: BE WARNED! The old Ruby on Rails course, the one you had suggested, YOU WILL RUN INTO ISSUES if you take this course. There are work around and they are easy to find, but this course cannot be readily taken at face value, so to speak. Still a great course. I have learned way more from it than this one here.

7,983 PointsI'm in the same boat. I'm not finding this course to be particularly good for where I am on the track.
I think this course might be better since it has more content.
I'm not going to start it just yet but if you do, let me know if it's any better!
