HTML How to Make a Website Responsive Web Design and Testing Refactor the Layout

Now, clear the left side of every 4th list item in the element with the id of "gallery".

Now, clear the left side of every 4th list item in the element with the id of "gallery". Here's a hint: You'll need to write another selector inside of the media query at the bottom of the file, in addition to the one you wrote in the previous step. You'll also need to use the nth-child pseudo selector. I do not get what am doing wrong.

Hi Haleigh!

I believe you took the hint ("Here's a hint: You'll need to write another selector inside of the media query") wrong. You need to create another selector inside your current media query, not to make another one (and you even made 3 of them, hehe).

Your code should look like this:

@media screen and (min-width: 480px) {
  #gallery li {
    width: 28.3333%;
  }

  anotherSelector { <--- still nested inside your one and only media query
    property: value;
  }

}

Hope this helps!

Quick tip: try using the search functionality and you will find lots of people that were stuck at the same challenge you were. review and understand the code and continue on your track. :)
