Python Python Basics (2015) Python Data Types String Formatting

now use .format() on the string "Treehouse loves {}" to put your name into the placeholder. Assign this to the variable

format is called on the treehouse loves string, and the name variable is the argument. format will put the value in name in the {} in the string it is called on. so you will have a syntax like "this is my string....{}...".format(argument).
