The index number for 'blue' is technically 1. With an array, index numbers always start with 0.

<?php

$colors = array('red', 'blue', 'green');

// Will echo blue
echo $colors [1];

// Will echo green
echo $colors [2];

?>

That's it! Remember arrays start counting from 0 (Zero Indexed). To get the value at position 2, you will have to take away 1 from 2:

<?php

echo $colors [1]; // blue

If you were trying to find the value at position three (green) you can do 3 - 1 = 2:

<?php

echo $colors[2]; // green
