number of spaces between lines of code

Hi - I am working on My First Webpage - CSS. Maybe we're going to get to this later, but I am trying to figure out the rationale for the number of blank lines left between lines of code. Is there any significance? I'm pretty sure I played with adding and deleting blank lines in the HTML file at least and it didn't make any difference.

Blank spaces is mostly for readability, nothing more. You could technically write any code in one, really long line if you wanted to. Think of your code as a story though. The black spaces are like the start of a new paragraph.
