objective c nsnumber literal

Assign an NSNumber literal with a value of '4' to the variable 'thing'.

this is my code what am i doing wrong? id thing = nil;

NSNumber *thing = @4;

object.mm

You so made your variable of type id named 'thing' and set the value to nil. all you have to do is reassign the value of 'thing' to the nsnumber literal. underneath id thing = nil; .... you should have... thing = @4;

you are not creating anything new, just merely reassigning the value of 'thing. Hope that helps
