Odd glitch with the result bar

I am on Python Basics and I am stuck on 'banana.py' task 3 I have used 'join' and 'format' but it says 'Have you used join?' If anyone has an answer to the task or why this is happening, please tell me

banana.py 
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(';')
menu  = ("Our available flavors are: {}.").format(available)
display_menu = menu.join(", ")

I think I have done it correctly and that is another reason why I wrote this

"join" is a string method. It has a weird the other way around syntax. display_menu = ", ".join(menu)
