2,183 PointsOld embed code not working
I followed the instructions to embed the "Charlie" video from youtube, but it won't show up when I refresh my web page. Is this a browser issue? Could the code be wrong? Help please - I'm a bit out of my depth here!

2,183 PointsI didn't even think to check that - can you tell I'm brand new to this? Haha. This worked - the embed text omitted the http: from each of the links, it seems to be fine now. Thank you!

2,183 PointsOh, and if it helps, I'm using a 2012 MacBook Pro and Chrome. I tried it Firefox too, but it still didn't show up.

Protocol-less URLs don't work without a web server, so in that case just add http: in front of the URL.

The main caveat to keep in mind when using the protocol-less reference is that it will fail on pages loaded via file:/// (i.e. HTML pages you load directly from disk to your browser). So, do be sure to include the http: protocol in the URL if you happen to be developing without a web server at all, but donβt worry about omitting it otherwise.source: http://encosia.com/3-reasons-why-you-should-let-google-host-jquery-for-you/
