On line 2 of app.js, select all links in the unordered list with the id of "gallery" and assign them to galleryLinks.

I don't understand why it doesn't work. It says "Was expecting 2 links not 3"

let navigationLinks = document.querySelectorAll('nav a'); let galleryLinks = document.querySelectorAll('#gallery'); let footerImages;

js/app.js
let navigationLinks = document.querySelectorAll('nav a');
let galleryLinks = document.querySelectorAll('#gallery');
let footerImages;

Hey Linda,

For Task 2, you are going to have to string together a couple of selectors. First you need to access the ID of gallery using getElementById(), and then string on the second one to select the links inside with getElementsByTagName(). So, one selects the ID and then because of chaining, the second one will select only the tags inside of the ID.

let galleryLinks = document.getElementById('gallery').getElementsByTagName('a');

Hope the helps. :) :dizzy:

Thank you so much! This DOM thing is very tricky... I'm finding it very hard to understand. But (very) slowly I think I'll get there.
