On Spreadsheet Basics Final quiz, I used SUM function to answer question 1 of 6. Where did I go wrong?

The question asked for the total number of fish that passed through the dam in 2001. I used the SUM function to sum up all the fish listed on the row for 2001(highlighted all cells in that row --- D65:M65). I got 3,592,960.00. However, the system marked it as wrong. Unless I forgot to include a cell in the row, I"m not sure why it is wrong. Can you help me out?

Thanks,

Jan

It does indeed appear that you missed column "C", which is the "Chinook Adult". And there were quite a few of those that year.

I got a different number by including that column which was scored correct by the quiz.

Hi Steven,

Okay. Thanks! I kept on staring at it. Looks like I overlooked that. Thanks for pointing that out!
