OS x 10.7.5 Can't save "index.php" in Safari forced to save as ".webarchive"

I asked this yesterday but the title says "Os x 7.7.5".

I'm in the first lesson trying to set up MAMP and attempted to save and "index.php" file but Safari doesn't allow it. I can either save it as ".webarchive" or both. Both gives a file "index.php.webarchive".

OS X 10.7.5, MAMP v.3.5.2, Safari v.6.1.6
