padding

instructions tell me to set padding top/bottom to 15px and left/right 10px. I have done so but I am unable to advance. What am i doing wrong?

I think that you aren't selecting the correct html element here:

nav li {
  display: inline-block;
  font-weight: 800; /* This is applying to the <li> and not the <a> links*/
  padding: 15px 10px; /* same with this*/
}

You want to select the links like so:
