Ruby User Authentication with Rails Password Hashing and Sign In Creating the Sessions Controller

Password Hashing Quiz

The question is" Type the method that we would call on the user object to check the submitted password:"

Then here is the code they have:

user = User.find_by(email: params[:email]) if user && user. ___________________

What method are they talking about? I know I'm missing something simple.

You want to authenticate the user with the provided password. Use the authenticate method with the password param.
