How to re-engage the quick selection tool after deselecting a selection with the alt key.
Can't get the quick selection tool to work after using the alt key to deselect an image.
Am I maybe missing a step?

7,618 Pointshmmm are the layers rasterized? sometimes when it's a vector layer/smart object it won't let you select either, if you are working in photoshop.

8,064 PointsDeselecting should only happen as long as you are holding the Alt key. Once you let go of the Alt key, the little "minus" symbol in the center of your cursor should change back to a "plus" symbol, signaling that clicking + dragging should once again add to your selection.
