PHP Build a Simple PHP Application Creating the Menu and Footer Variables and Conditionals

PHP challenge is asking me to add a condition to hide message. Not getting this.

<?php $flavor = "PB"; echo "<p>Your favorite flavor of ice cream is "; echo $flavor; echo ".</p>"; echo "<p>Randy's favorite flavor is cookie dough, also!</p>"; if ($flavor == "cookie dough" ) { echo "cookie dough"; } else { echo "off"; } ?>

Hello,

Since you posted the same question twice (tisk tisk tisk), I'm going to answer your questions here. When the challenge asked you to hide one of the messages, that just means to make sure it doesn't get displayed when the script runs. Your code example above is kind of correct, however, you need to inject the conditional statement around the code that needs to be hidden. You have both statements visible. The only way that both statements will get displayed is if the $flavor variable is cookie dough. Just make sure you set up the conditional so that one or both gets displayed at the correct instances. Hope this helps.

Cheers!
