PHP - web server

Hi, hope someone can help. As well as doing the course on Team Treehouse I have purchased a PHP book. It tells me that PHP scripts must be run on a web server. I'm using BBedit and believe I still have to set up a web server. I'm using a Mac OS X EI. Does anyone have a clue on how I can do this? I am completely lost

Hi there! Yes, you will need to set up a server on your system so that your PHP can be compiled into HTML. Luckily, there's a 7-minute workshop on exactly how to do this specifically for macOS. Take a look at this workshop.

It's not a long detour and should be well worth your time! Happy coding! :sparkles:
