Please can someone help out with this code. I have no idea why it isnt working

var question1 = prompt("Dublin is a city in which European country ?"); var answer = question1.toUpperCase();

if (answer === "IRELAND" ); {

alert("Correct!!!!");
}
else {

document.write("That was the wrong answer");

}

if (answer === "IRELAND" ); {   // <--- remove the semicolon

There shouldn’t be a semicolon after the opening if statement, for a start. Does removing that fix it?
