I'm stuck on this code challenge >> In the conditional statement you just created, also test to make sure the return status from the server is OK.
var xhr = new XMLHttpRequest();
xhr.onreadystatechange = function() {
if (xhr.readyState === 4) {}
};
xhr.open('GET', 'sidebar.html');
xhr.send();
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<meta charset="utf-8">
<title>AJAX with JavaScript</title>
<script src="app.js"></script>
</head>
<body>
<div id="main">
<h1>AJAX!</h1>
</div>
<div id="sidebar"></div>
</body>
</html>

You should be able to use the 'status' property on the XHR object, to get the status code for success. The success status code is 200. Just add it to your conditional that checks for 'readyState'.
if (xhr.readyState === 4 && xhr.status === 200) {}
