I think the only thing you missed is the '!'. I just entered this into the challenge and it worked:
<?php
$name = "Mike";
if ($name == "Mike") {
echo "Hi, I am Mike!";
}
?>

There is nothing wrong with the code. You fail the challenge only because it looks for the exact same sentence 'Hi, I am Mike!' with the exclamation mark at the end. If you add the exclamation mark you should pass the challenge without any problems.
