Hi Gyan,

You almost got it, but you are using the index function in the opposite way it is intended.

To retrieve an item from a list at a certain index, you'd use square brackets. Example:

my_list[0]  # will return the item at index 0.
my_list.index('a')  # will search for 'a' in my_list and return whatever index position it is at.
