Python Python Basics (2015) Python Data Types Use .split() and .join()

please help me answer this challenge. thank you very much!!

banana.py
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(';')
menu = "our available flavors are: {}."
display_menu = menu

  1. You have to use .format() on menu variable to put something (in this case, variable named sundaes) into the placeholder {} that you had in the menu string.
  2. use ", ".join() to rejoin each item by a comma and a space

Like this: available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white" sundaes = available.split(";") display_menu = menu.format(", ".join(sundaes))

Or you can do it all in one line with the menu variable that you already have instead of assign it to different variable which is display_menu: available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white" sundaes = available.split(";") menu = "Our available flavors are: {}.".format(", ".join(sundaes))

You will get pass the challenge with either of these code. This is my first time answer the question. Sorry if it doesn't make sense for you. Good luck!!!
