8,525 PointsPlease, help my code will not work.
Here is my code: function returnValue(length, width) { var notHappy = length * width; return notHappy; } console.log(returnValue(56,62)); document.write(returnValue(56,62)); I get the data. I also keep getting the error message that I need to type: "return, a space, and the parameter name". I can't figure this one out. I know it is something simple.
function returnValue(length, width) {
var notHappy = length * width;
return notHappy;
}
console.log(returnValue(56,62));
document.write(returnValue(56,62));

Task 1 asks you to "create a function named returnValue that accepts a single argument (you can name it anything), then immediately returns that argument."
- You have created the function "returnValue", but you have 2 argument (length, width).
- You need to return your argument.
function returnValue(time) {
return time;
};
Task 2 asks you (after the function) to "create a new variable named echo. Set the value of echo to be the results from calling the returnValue function. When you call the returnValue function, make sure to pass in any string you'd like for the parameter. "
function returnValue(time) {
return time;
};
var echo = returnValue("midday");
