When I click on the little eye, am I supposed to end up in a window that shows a file tree and not the actual webpage?
Anyways to avoid this?

5,773 PointsIf your seeing a file tree, you may not have saved your page yet. Save and then click on the eyeball. You may also have to refresh your browser window.
