I'm just not grasping what i am doing here, I've tried treating it like a var.. a = input("enter number")
this is the only part i am stuck on.. maybe i'm looking at it wrong.
name = input("what's your name?")
print("Hello")
print (name) print("Let's do some math") a = input("Enter a number here") print(5 + "a")
print("Thanks for playing along")
name = input("What is your name?")
print("Hello")
print(name)
print("Let's do some math!")
print(5 + a)
print("Thanks for playing along!")

21,239 Pointsyou have written a as a variable, not "a". The variable a is not declared.

1,332 PointsI saw that and corrected that, now i am getting a syntax error.. would i make it an int? int("a") = input?
