Problem Calling the Alert Function

Hello! In the attached code, it tells me I haven't "called" the alert function...but I don't remember learning how to do that from this unit's video. Where is the error? Thank you for your help.

</head>
<body>
  <script src="script.js">
    alert("Warning!");
  </script>

</body>
</html>

I am sorry but you have to write the code inside the script file not the body. This will work

<script>
alert("warning!");
</script>

Removing the src="script.js" should help you pass the challenge.
