Problem is string format exp...

so now use .format() on the string "Treehouse loves {}" to put your name into the placeholder. Assign this to the variable subject again.

name = "Anupam" subject = "Treehouse loves {}" print(subject.format(name))

Where is the issue there

strings.py
name = "Anupam"
subject = "Treehouse loves {}"
print(subject.format(name))

subject = "Treehouse loves {}".format(name)

:point_right: The challenge says to assign the final string to "subject", not print it.
