Problems with the drag and drop function for uploading the img files into my workspace. Are there other upload methods?

The drag and drop function isn't working for uploading files into my workspace. Is there a way I can manually just upload them instead?

Having the same problem here, neither drag and drop nor "upload" from the file menu works. I work on a pc with windows 8.1.

Hi, I found a work-around. I am using Windows 8, and had a problem with Drag'n Drop as well. I tried "Upload File" method, and initially only the zip file uploaded, although I could easily see de-compressed files in my file navigation system. So, I copied all the .jpg and .png files into a new folder, and tried the "upload File" method again. It worked like a charm. Good luck!

Workspaces does not work on the iPad so I cannot confirm, but I think you can find an upload feature in the menu items. There is no direct other way to upload that I am aware of.

The drag and drop location is the bottom of the file tree if I remember right.

Hi Kyle, I've seen a few students who cannot seem to use the drag-and-drop method, but there is another way that has worked for them.

Under "file" in workspaces, there is an "upload file" option. From there you just navigate to your files and upload them directly.

Hope this solves your problem. Keep Coding! :)

The Upload File option does not work either. Clicking File > Upload File does not open any folders on my computer. Upload File doesn't seem to have any reaction when it is clicked on my Windows 8.1 OS.

Sorry that didn't work. I recommend that you send the problem you are having to the Treehouse Support Team. They respond quickly and may have more insight.
