I need you to write a function named product. It should take two arguments, you can call them whatever you want, and then multiply them together and return the result.
def product(count): product = (Var1*Var2) Var1 = 5 Var2 = 6 return(Var1,Var2)
i don't understand what i did wrong
def product(count):
product = (Var1*Var2)
Var1 = 5
Var2 = 6
return(Var1,Var2)

All the task asks of you is to create a function that takes 2 arguments, multiply the two arguments and return the result. At the moment, you are passing one argument, creating a variable called product which is Var1 * Var2, by the way Var1 and Var2 are not even defined. When we say arguments we mean two values passed to a function within the parenthesis. See example below
# in this example I will add the two arguments passed to a function called add and return the result
def add(num1, num2):
return num1 + num 2
