how to use prompt function with var eg. var answer= prompt('what day is it?'); how to store answer value in variable?

Hi,

You're actually capturing the answer in the "answer" variable already. You can see this in action by copying and pasting your code into the browser console and then writing 'answer'. At this point the value that you entered into the prompt should be returned in the console
