Ugh, I made this list and now it has some invalid pieces in it. Maybe you can help me clean it up. Use the .remove() method to remove the last item from the list, please.
Can someone help?
states = [
'ACTIVE',
['red', 'green', 'blue'],
'CANCELLED',
'FINISHED',

Python Web Development Techdegree Graduate 14,822 Pointslist.remove(x) iterates through a list and removes ONLY 1'st element, which has the value "x".
So in your case:
states = [
'ACTIVE',
['red', 'green', 'blue'],
'CANCELLED',
'FINISHED',
5,
]
states.remove(5) # First step
states.remove(['red', 'green', 'blue']) # Second step
Would be a solution.
