Hello Masanari! Use float() function inside add() function to float arguments that you will add together. The final solution will be :

 def add(a,b):
  try:
    flt1 = float(a)
    flt2 = float(b)
  except ValueError:
    return None
  else:
    return flt1+flt2

You can either do it this way:

def add(num1, num2):
    return float(num1) + float(num2)

Or:

def add(num1, num2):
    flt1 = float(num1)
    flt2= float(num2)
    return flt1 + flt2
