Python Basics Code Challenge (string-length)

Im stuck at this challenge if someone out there can help from the code I think I wrote it correct I guess my real issue is understanding the question heres the question

Create a new function named just_right that takes a single argument, a string. If the length of the string is less than five characters, return "Your string is too short". If the string is longer than five characters, return "Your string is too long". Otherwise, just return True.

strlen.py
def just_right(arg):
    if len(arg) < 5:
        print("Your string is too short")
    elif len(arg) > 5:
        print("Your string is too long")
    else:
        return True

I figured it out on my own

I was spoz to return and not print

def just_right(arg):
    if len(arg) < 5:
        return "Your string is too short"
    elif len(arg) > 5:
        return "Your string is too long"
    else:
        return True

Thanks, this is the exact error I made. A little confusing when you consider we're typically asked to "print" and not return. Also, in the preceding video, Kenneth prints the responses in the game example.

So, here is some further reading on the difference between print and return.

Brian Stevens awesome, thanks for sharing that link i had read through it, and also im glad I helped in that challenge in some sort of way. Sometimes the question of the challenge is what confuses me lol
