Please help with challenge below: def disemvowel(word): word = list(word) vowels = ("a", "e", "i", "o", "u") for letter in word: if letter.lower() in vowels: word.remove(letters) return word

Hi,

Your code looks good, the issue is that you have pluralised letter in the remove method, so you have word.remove(letters) should be letter.

I have to say I have banged my head against the wall for hours with ones like this, as a Dyslexic. I feel your pain.

I think you have to return the string, so join the list back together.

You can do it, these frustrations are part of learning to code. They take an age to figure out the simplest thing, I had the same blocks, the same frustrations, Keep going!!!!!, you'll smash it!
