Courses Plus Student 1,315 PointsPython Collections. Dictionaries. Teacher Stats Challenge. Task 4. The correct solution does not pass
Here is the code.
- How do I change it so that solution passes
- Maybe some improvements with /* packing/unpacking instead of loops?
# The dictionary will look something like:
# {'Andrew Chalkley': ['jQuery Basics', 'Node.js Basics'],
# 'Kenneth Love': ['Python Basics', 'Python Collections']}
#
# Each key will be a Teacher and the value will be a list of courses.
#
# Your code goes below here.
def num_teachers(d):
ctn=0
for i in d:
ctn+=1
return ctn
def num_courses(d):
ctn=0
for i in d:
ctn+=len(d[i])
return ctn
def courses(d):
l=[]
for i in d:
l=d[i]
return l
def most_courses(d):
span = 0
for i in d:
if len(d[i]) > span:
span = len(d[i])
s = i
return s

41,120 PointsYour code for most_courses (task 4) is correct. It's your code for courses (task 3) which is wrong. Presumably you already completed task 3 to reach task 4 and must have accidentally changed it, so I'll assume you don't need help with task 3. Let me know if you do want any hints though. I can assure you that your code for most_courses is correct.
