Question about "Start Program" and "End Program"

Since these are implemented into the program, do they act as check points? I heard programs usually stop where the error occurs, and wanted to know if these are used to verify if a program has went through and was executed.

These messages just confirm execution, particularly the "End program" message. If something went wrong along the way, that message wouldn't show in the console.
