Question about unordered list tags

I pass Task 1 (nav, ul and li tags OK) but when I insert <img src ="img/numbers-01.jpg"> in first <li> tag the website says : "It looks like Task 1 is no longer passing". What am I doing wrong?

index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <title>Nick Pettit</title>
  </head>
  <body>
    <header>
      <a href="index.html">
        <h1>Nick Pettit</h1>
        <h2>Designer</h2>
      </a>
      <nav>
        <ul>
          <li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li>
          <li><a href="about.html">About</a></li>
          <li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li>
        </ul>
      </nav>
    </header>
    <section>
      <nav>
        <ul>
          <li>
            <img src ="img/numbers-01.jpg">
          </li>
          <li>

            <img src ="img/numbers-06.jpg">
          </li>
        </ul>
      </nav>

Hi,

It is not passing because task one only asked you to create an unordered list with three blank list. In task 2 you were asked to include only an img in each list.

The reason why it is not passing is because in the section you have added the unordered list inside a nav that you added. You already have another nav above, and it was not asking you to include the list inside the nav. Hence, to solve your problem, I think you should just remove the nav within the section tag.

Hence,

<section>
        <ul>
          <li>
            <img src ="img/numbers-01.jpg">
          </li>
          <li>
            <img src ="img/numbers-02.jpg">
          </li>
          <li>
            <img src ="img/numbers-06.jpg">
          </li>
        </ul>
    </section>

Hope this helps!

Thanks for this, Jonathan. Removing the nav tags did the trick!
