R error and xml file

R error I am following the Android Lists and Adapters topic, and now I am having issues/errors with R and I can't resolve it or clean it. Also, I am having an error on my activity_main.xml

tools:context=".MainActivity" Is there any relation with the two errors? How can I resolve this? Can anyone help me?
