Your question is difficult to understand without knowing the context of your problem. Where is this problem occurring (code challenge, workspaces, etc.)?

I am following along in the web design track, and after the video lesson, I take a challenge. It doesn't open up the workspace at all or show me the webpage but i can;t see the preview.

Hi, not completly sure but if you want to be secure , write your code in a text edito like sublime 2 or notepad ++ . That way you will have the code on your computer :)

Kimberly,

Once you take the code challenge it will move you on to the next video, only. You can click on the workspace button on the right hand side to open workspace up and practice what you have learned in the video. Click on "index.html" to see your code and continue to practice coding. To check you work in a browser, you have to check the icon at the top of workspace, on the right that looks like an eye. This will open you work up in what looks like a browser. To open your work up in your actual browser, you will have to code html in a text editor such as sublime text or note pad ++.

Hope this helps, good luck.
