What is wrong here?

try removing your space around your charset:

<meta charset="UTF-8">
Jennifer Nordell
seal-mask
STAFF
.a{fill-rule:evenodd;}techdegree
Jennifer Nordell
Treehouse Teacher

I know this sounds odd, but you must remove the spaces on either side of the equals sign. We consider it more readable to put spaces, but this will not work here.
