remove list

Hmm still dont understand what went wrong, i also tried with "del", but it doesn't work

lists.py
the_list = ["a", 2, 3, 1, False, [1, 2, 3]]

# Your code goes below here
the_list.insert(0, the_list.pop(3))
the_list.remove([1], [4], [5])

remove() takes a literal representation, not the index; think of it like a search string.

Using del, this can be done with two lines:

del the_list[-2:] # Remove the last 2 indexes
del the_list[1] # Remove the "a" (2nd index)

For the extend, you forgot to put [] around the 0, 19. :)

Try this:

the_list.extend([0, 19])

Extend takes a list, not multiple arguments :smile:

Good luck! ~alex

the_list = ["a", 2, 3, 1, False, [1, 2, 3]]

# Your code goes below here
the_list.insert(0, the_list.pop(3))
del the_list[-2:]
del the_list[1]
the_list.extend(0, 19)
