Python Python Basics (2015) Python Data Types list.remove()

Remove Nth Item in a Python List

Is there a command that removes the n th item from a list no matter what value it has?

Here is a short example that I typed up, it allows the user to select which element to delete:

a_list = ['a', 'b', 'c', 'd']
print(a_list)
num = int(input("Enter a number to delete >>>  "))
del(a_list[num])
print(a_list)
