results returned but something vague wrong?

I used this command: select movie_id, avg(score) as average from reviews group by movie_id;

and received a list of movie_id's and their average scores, but for some reason this doesn't satisfy the question.

Maybe you need just:

SELECT avg(score) AS average FROM reviews GROUP BY movie_id;
