Return 0

Is there a difference if you write return 15, or any number for that matter at the end of the main ( ) function?

return 0 signifies successful exit. returning anything else (nonzero) usually signifies failed exit.

But does it change anything when it goes into the compiler? Or is the return just for the programmer to see?

it doesnt change the behavior of the program. your code will still run regardless of the return value (assuming its correct), however the return value is useful in some situations.
