return value

I am storing the return value bread, but i don't know why i am still getting errors

function returnValue (bread){
return bread;
  var echo = bread;

Any code after a return won't run so you need to call you function outside of the function definition

function returnValue (bread){ return bread; }

var echo = bread; returnValue(echo);
