4,433 Pointsreturning the sum total from a dictionary
I need to return the total from a dictionary, but i'm not sure what method to use
# The dictionary will look something like:
# {'Andrew Chalkley': ['jQuery Basics', 'Node.js Basics'],
# 'Kenneth Love': ['Python Basics', 'Python Collections']}
#
# Each key will be a Teacher and the value will be a list of courses.
#
# Your code goes below here.
def num_teachers(dictionary):
teachers = len(dictionary)
return teachers
def num_courses(dictionary):

65,469 PointsUnfortunately, there no built-in Python method for this task. You need to use a loop that iterates through the values of the dictionary and increment some variable by the length of each value (they are lists, so you can take the length of them)
