Returns in Methods

I am stuck on this challenge... I am not sure if I need a 3rd argument or if this is simply a formatting error.... Help plz!

Question: In the previous challenge, we wrote a method that returned the remainder of two arguments when divided. That's cool, but it would be nicer if the method returned the remainder in a nice full sentence. Use string interpolation to return the remainder inside the sentence “The remainder of a divided by b is c.” where a is your “a” variable, b is your “b” variable, and c is the value of a % b.

method.rb
  def mod(a, b)
  #write your code here
    puts c = a % b
    return "The remainder of a divided by #{b} is #{c}."
end

Hi Adan,

You're pretty much there, but you don't want to puts your second line and you missed one interpolation in the string (a).

def mod(a, b)
  c = a % b
  return "The remainder of #{a} divided by #{b} is #{c}."
end

That should work for you.

Steve.

I knew it had to be something simple! Thank you for showing me my oversight!
