I do not understand why this is not working and there are no ways to diagnose whats going wrong on this challenge, it just says "bummer, try again"
What am I doing wrong???

return item[:4]
def first_and_last_4(item):
return item[:4] + item[-4:]
def odds(item):
return item[1::2]
def reverse_evens(item)
even = item[::2]
return even[::-1]

Also, FYI you can combine those two actions at the end.
item[::2][::-1]
